Faith is the KEY to accessing/utilizing the power and authority we have in Christ. What is faith? How can I increase my faith? Do I receive faith?

What is faith?

Hebrews 11: 1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

How to increase your faith:

Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.

God’s Word says we are given a measure of faith and that we “walk” by faith. Our daily walk (i.e. primary focus) is spiritual, not physical. Faith is the manifestation of our hope and our hope is in Jesus and His finished work on the Cross/Resurrection. The Word of God brings about faith. The more we know/study God’s Word and all of His promises, the more promises we claim (stand on – “Standing on the Promises”) and the more faith we have . . . the more power and authority we access.

Do I receive faith?

Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as GOD HATH DEALT TO EVERY MAN THE MEASURE OF FAITH.

2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.

Fellow Warriors, God’s Word is the primary weapon used to DEFEAT the Enemy. The power and authority to use His Word is FAITH. Faith is the key to unlocking VICTORY in our lives.

1 John 5:4 “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”

If we don’t know what God's Word says, we are MORE than at a disadvantage . . . we are in danger of being DESTROYED and FORGOTTEN:

Hosea 4:6 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.”

Father, we come by and through Your Son, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, and we ask that you block all lies and deception of the Enemy and that through Your Word, our FAITH will be increased. Father, may every Warrior be worthy of our calling – to be in Your Army. As we encounter daily Battles dressed in the Full Armor of God (Ephesians 6), fully protected and equipped, and through obedience to Your Word be VICTORIOUS over the Enemy and his wiles! In Yeshua’s Mighty Name we pray . . . amen!

Crying out in the wilderness,

Delann Conrad
