A Facebook friend and sister in Christ recently shared an article from Beliefnet.com, which topic was angels. As a watchman, I must warn her and ALL Warriors. You cannot trust every website that claims to be Christian in nature and message. You cannot trust every Facebook Christian group as being created by and managed by Believers. You cannot believe every person who “professes” to be your brother/sister in Christ. You cannot “take for granted” that things are “as they seem.” Satan comes as an angel of light and so do all demons doing his bidding. Satan is a Deceiver. Not everyone who you would "like to trust" to be giving you GOD’S TRUTH actually DOES. Be careful what you read and what you accept as God’s Truth.
We are warned throughout God’s Word of False teachers and false doctrine (Jeremiah 14:14; Ezekiel 13:6; Matthew 7:15-20; 2 Peter 2:1-3; 1 Timothy 4:2, Titus 1:10-11). It is up to US to recognize and to “test every spirit.” WE must discern whether a teacher, or a doctrine, or the spirit driving a professing Believer is from Satan or from our Heavenly Father (1 John 4:1-3).
This Belief.net article is entitled, “The 7 Archangels and Their Meanings.” The title is deceptive to start with, because the conclusive paragraph reads . . . and I quote:

This is what GOD’S WORD – THE TRUTH – says:
Colossians 2:18 “Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind”
Revelation 22:8-9 “And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.9 then saith he unto me, see thou do it not: for I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.”
Luke 4: 8 “And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him ONLY shalt thou serve.”
Matthew 4:10 “Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him ONLY shalt thou serve.”
Angels are real – the exist to SERVE GOD and to minister to believers. They indeed work in unseen ways by God’s Commission to serve and accomplish God’s will (Psalm 91:11, 103:20; Luke 4:10, Exodus 23:20) – NOT OURS. Angels do not work by our command nor do they accomplish our bidding.
It is not okay to pray to angels, it is SIN. Our prayers are to be directed to our Heavenly Father alone as Jesus’ example given in Matthew 6:9-13.
Many Believers probably read or have read articles on Belief.net, and consider it a Christian site. This should prove to all of you otherwise. If you choose to read articles there, I warn you to make sure what you read is PURE TRUTH according to God’s Word – not according to the writer.
